This short concept piece was created as an op-ed style doc to explore my physical and emotional journey with chronic illness and chronic pain. Also a commentary on America's medical and pharmaceutical industries, the purpose of the project was to visualize my experience through macro vignettes of movements and textures that could be heard and felt by audiences who have not experienced chronic illness themselves. The goal is to destigmatize conversations surrounding chronic illness and generate a global understanding and empathy for the hundreds of conditions that people of all ages walk through life with.

This shorter piece, crafted by me and a group of friends during lockdown, inspired a longer series of experimental interviews in collaboration with patients of varying ages, walks of life, and experiences with chronic illnesses. The series is currently in post production and we are hoping to release the projects, alongside a collection of resources for donations to further medical research, in late 2024.
