Miranda Manganaro is a New York City-based artist and documentary filmmaker whose work is centered around bringing underrepresented stories to life. A recent graduate of New York University (2022), her freelance projects have taken her to the streets of Paris, into the archives of Lithuanian DP camp survivors, Chinatown's creative non-profit subculture, and opened community conversations about life with chronic illness.
Before joining documentary director Erin Lee Carr's team at Carr Lot Productions in 2022, she got her footing in the commercial world as a Production Coordinator for JWALK, and later a Freelance Producer for the fragrance launch of Ellessené. Prior to those positions, Miranda took an active role in social media marketing and digital streaming as an intern for Argo Media, spearheading the platform’s partnership with the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival.
When she’s not chugging coffee on set, Miranda can be found rocking out at her DIY concert series with Reverb New York or hiking the nearest volcano.
